Fairfield Capital Management is a Dallas-based alternative asset manager. We follow assets and cash flow, not a sector mandate, and we look for situations where complexity creates a clear price.
Approach
We are value investors. We seek businesses and assets in transition, complicated by structure, timing, or capital needs, and we underwrite them on what the assets and the cash flow are worth.
Private equity, venture capital, and real estate are three routes to the same question: what something is worth, and what it will earn. Discipline sets the price we will pay. Flexibility lets us structure around what a seller or founder actually needs. Our work continues after closing.
Strategies
We invest in private companies where transition or structure creates an opening to buy quality assets and cash flow at a disciplined price. We stay involved after closing, close to the decisions that compound over a holding period, and we manage risk deliberately at every level of the firm.
We back early companies at the point where a business model is proven but not yet built out. We underwrite the same way we do elsewhere: on the durability of the model, the path to cash flow, and a price that leaves room for what has to go right.
We invest in real estate where value is driven by the asset and its income, not by a thematic mandate. We look for situations shaped by timing, capital structure, or complexity, and we underwrite to cash flow and downside first.
